Created my own micro-business dedicated to video game development.
-1 week temporary assignment at La Poste as a mail carrier, including training on driving the postal van.
-3 months at Amazon during the Christmas season as a Picker and Cart Runner.
Development of simulators and experiences in extended reality (VR/MR) using Unity. I have worked on various projects, and overall, here is what has been accomplished:
-Development of a complete VR level (OpenXR) and presentation to the client at their premises (adherence to specifications).
-Proof of Concept (POC) and setup of a new project using Photon Fusion 2 / Photon Voice 2 (multiplayer) in Mixed Reality with Meta SDK on standalone Quest 3 / Quest Pro.
-Bug fixing and improvement of user experience.
-Testing with acceptance documentation.
-Physical assembly of a VR simulator and enhancement with SimRacing (actuators => telemetry).
For a year, I worked a student job as a Game Master at Rush Out, an Escape Game in Béthune, in northern France.
Being very sociable, I really enjoyed this experience. I was fully autonomous, managing clients from their arrival to their departure, including welcoming them, processing payments, conducting briefings, immersing myself in character to align with the chosen theme, and assisting them throughout their escape room experience. I also handled various unforeseen issues, made repairs, and so on.
I received only positive feedback from clients, whether through Google reviews or in person, which motivated me even more to improve each time!
I also had the opportunity to revise mechanisms and puzzles, as well as help with the creation of a quiz room.
Back-end Developer in the "Transport" department of the "Mobility & e-Transactional Services" unit for the reversed toll project of the Metropolitan Area of Lille, ECOBONUS (Java Spring, API, deployment, microservices creation, Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Keycloak, Scrum, client demos).
During this hybrid internship (both in-person and remote) in Lille, I had the opportunity to dive into the professional corporate environment. My team was great, and there was an excellent atmosphere among us, which was very important to me.
I was fortunate to be involved in a very complex, well-structured, and comprehensive project. As a very curious person, I had many questions to ask. This internship allowed me to discover numerous tools, adhere to strict guidelines, and work according to the agile SCRUM methodology. I participated in various meetings, interacted with collaborators and the client, presented my work during client demos, proposed my ideas, and more.
All these experiences gave me a concrete first insight into the professional world of IT, and I was truly excited by it.
Complete overhaul of an outdated "game" website for an e-sports association (ReactJS, NodeJS [API], Docker, access token).
I completed this internship remotely as a back-end developer. Initially, the project was planned to be developed in PHP using the WordPress CMS, but I declined this approach. In collaboration with another intern specializing in front-end development, we proposed a complete overhaul, which was more flexible and efficient for this type of project.
Once our proposal was accepted, I had to analyze and choose the technologies to transition from an outdated site to a website using more suitable and accessible technologies for future developers of the project.
Development of the back-end (API) for a sports application (Python - Django, access token, blockchain) intended for sports organizations and professionals, including FIFA.
I had the opportunity to work for Peguy Luyindula, a former professional football player, who provided his expertise to determine the legal feasibility of the project, the necessary features, and important clauses in a professional football contract.
As the sole developer for this application, I was responsible for its initiation, providing a solid foundation for the project. With the support of my supervisor, a PhD candidate in artificial intelligence, this first professional experience was very enriching and strengthened my motivation to continue my studies in computer science.
